Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using SignPDF ("Service", "we", "us"). By accessing or using SignPDF, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
SignPDF is a browser-based PDF editing tool that allows users to view, annotate, sign, and redact PDF documents. All PDF processing occurs locally in your browser. The Service is offered on a freemium basis with optional paid subscription plans.
You must be at least 13 years of age to use SignPDF. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf.
Free plan: 3 PDF exports per day, 5 MB file size limit, standard features.
Plus plan ($10/month): Unlimited exports, 100 MB file size limit, AI redaction.
Pro plan ($15/month): Unlimited exports, 500 MB file size limit, batch processing, all features.
Plan pricing and features may change with 30 days' advance notice to existing subscribers.
You agree not to use SignPDF to:
SignPDF and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by us and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You retain full ownership of all PDF documents and content you process using the Service. We claim no rights to your files.
You grant us a limited license to process technical data (export counts, plan status) strictly as necessary to provide the Service.
Use of the Service is subject to our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. Our core commitment: your PDF files are never transmitted to our servers.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components. You use the Service at your sole risk.
Legal documents: SignPDF is a productivity tool. We make no representations about the legal validity of digital signatures produced using the Service in any jurisdiction. Consult a legal professional for documents requiring legally binding signatures.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL SIGNPDF BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOSS OF DATA, PROFITS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SignPDF and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your violation of these Terms or your misuse of the Service.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. You may delete your account at any time from account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, for significant changes, by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms are governed by applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction, at our election.
